Impact! provides a site for all youth, teachers, parents and community members to receive information related to teen issues.
We have two resource centers. Our Anderson office is located at 220 McGee Rd. inside the Health Department, and our Seneca office is located at 409 E. North St in the United Way Building. Operation Hours: 8am- 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday. Center includes:
- Brochures: dealing with many teen issues including relationships, abstinence, contraception, legal issues, dating violence, drug and alcohol use, teen parenting and sexually transmitted infections.
- Games: interactive games dealing with issues such as sexually transmitted diseases, becoming a responsible adult, sexual awareness and parenting
- Curriculum: "Best Practices" from the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy proven effective for churches, community and schools
- Demonstration Models: including but not limited to Real Care Babies, Empathy Bellies, Models for STIs, HIV Pregnancy and Contraception
- Videos: related to all types of teen issues from drugs, dating violence, teen parenting, abstinence and much more
- Literatures: for those who want to learn more about teen pregnancy, teen issues and the impact on your community
- Referrals: for any youth or parent looking for support in addressing issues facing teens
- One-on-One Counseling with Health Educator
